50 Follower Giveaway

Happy Monday (again) friends! While posting about Alex's 100 follower giveaway giveaway and Technology Tailgate's teacher appreciation giveaway I decided that I should host a 50 follower giveaway (only 16 people to go)! I am actually not sure whether you are supposed to WAIT for that many followers or try to reach that many followers... hmmm, I may be doing this ALL wrong!

The prize for 50 followers is small but I promise 100 followers will be worth the wait! You can earn up to 41 entries (that number is going to drive me crazy) using Rafflecopter so quick, get started on your entires!

  1. Dropbox is probably my favorite technology thing, period. It is amazing for sending things between home and school. I use Google Docs all the time, too- such a great way to share!

  3. I just bought the ipad app Confer. It's simple, but I've really enjoyed it so far. The kids love it too! Dropbox is another must have for me.

    1. Hey Katie, thanks for commenting. Is Confer a data collecting app?

    2. Pretty much. It is a way to keep track of all the conferences you do with kids. You type in a tag, strength, teaching point, and next step for every conference. Then, you can sort by tags and make groups. I haven't used it to make groups yet, but it's been really helpful in keeping my conferences on track.

  4. Hi Nikki! I just found your blog through the Idea Backpack! So glad I found you! I am a second grade teacher from Ohio and am teaching technology to our whole grade level this year! My favorite tech tool right now is Mentor Mob-- it's like a visual slideshow of all of my YouTube videos!

    1. Dana, I have just started hearing about Mobi's (we have SMART Boards or Promethean Boards in our county. I'm all about the interactive white boards! When I taught first grade if my SMART Board was down I had a hard time getting through the day because MOST of my lessons revolved around the board in one way or another! I have an external hard drive just always opted for flash drives and now Google Docs and Dropbox (my other lifesavers)! Thanks for commenting!
